I changed FOUNDATIONS in my kit!

So if you've seen my 3 part videos on what's in my kit, you know I use Eve Pearl's cream foundations and concealers. While I love love love Eve Pearl, it's extremely pricey. I would only replace my concealers or foundations when there was a sale. But that was getting inconvenient because I had to make do while missing colors. Her foundations range from $50-$54 and only come with 2-3 colors. Recently I made a purchase of 3 foundations from Eve Pearl on the Naimie's website and with my pro discount it was around $100. A few days went by and I decided to check up on the status of my order and for some reason it was cancelled. It was a sign, or at least I took it as one. I decided to research professional foundation kits, like cinema secrets, RCMA, Graftobian, etc. Famous Makeup Artist James Kevin Bennett recommends Mehron's Célèbre Pro HD foundations in his website: www.inmykit.com . The packaging and size of foundations appealed to me. They come in a large mehron case, or I can just put each color in a zuca bag. They have clear tops to see the color, unlike some of Eve Pearl's cases. Best part is that I paid $169 for 20 different colors with my pro discount at Camera Ready Cosmetics. I'm sad to say goodbye to my Eve Pearl products but this is just more affordable. Plus, I thought the Eve Pearl concealers were too drying under the eyes. But I will always keep her salmon concealer trio in my kit.

I'm excited to have new concealers (MUFE HD Concealers) and foundations in my kit. I try to upgrade my kit whenever I can afford to so that it's my dream kit! I bought this Mehron palette at Camera Ready Cosmetics, I love that online store and the service is great. Best part, they have a pro discount!

real techniques brushes

And I finally got the last pack of Real Techniques brushes! Although, I think I'm missing one more brush from this line that I want, but I'm satisfied, I have most of them because well, I'm addicted. I really do love their brushes.

So have you guys tried any of these products?

  2. It looks like you have so much variety now, that is awesome! Even though it is hard moving on from a brand that you love.

And those real techniques brushes.....I should stop commenting on how jealous I am every time you post about them. :P

  3. I want to try the brushes! 80)

In regards to the foundations...I love RCMA and I live by Graftobian HD Cream I use both in my kit. Graftobian works marvelous on all skin colors but I find that the darker colors work best on ethnic clients/models over any other foundation. MUFE HD foundations are a staple in my kit as well. 80)

I swear by anthing Mehron and love the celebre blushes, shadows, and foundation. 80)

  4. @brianna I'm sure I will do a review on them :) @inmyhasonshirt do they not sell real techniques brushes where you live? @Maria my friend uses RCMA & I wasn't feelin it since it's so thick & I don't like using the thinner for my clients with oily skin. I actually have Graftobian's darkest foundation palette because it's as black as you can get! And when I used MUfE HD foundation on myself I never liked it :/ I know I'm probably the only one lol
