Sneak Peak

Today was my first time working with Photographer Nina Lux and Stylist Waina Chancy. I have been writing Nina ever since I started doing shoots because I loved her work, and after months, we finally got to work together. She was super sweet and talkative so I had a great time. Waina was great and Alex was very laid back and fun to work with, he said he looked like a girl because I put blush on him, but I assured him it was to bring color back into his face and that he wouldn't notice in the photos. Editorial Photo Shoot

This was an editorial shoot with Photographer Christian Micheal Melvin and Model Jo Rosenthal who is with the Green Agency. Christian is only 16! I felt so old, but he's a great photographer and very sweet. While they were shooting, Jo's Mom came and was super sweet and talking to me the whole time. She is the owner of the Green Agency.

Lea Ann's Before & After

 

Today I had the pleasure of doing Lea Ann's makeup. She wanted a new look. She was so much fun to talk to. After I did her makeup, she went to the bathroom to look in the mirror and I heard her laugh. She came out and yelled I LOVE IT! And then she gave me a huge hug! 

Client Shoot February

Last month I had a client photo shoot with T La Niece (photographer) and Angela Myamme Pitts, who you see above. Angela is a reality tv actor She was in Flava of Love 3 & I Love Money. 

She was really chill and hadn't shot in a while since she just opened up a hair salon.

The picture is not the best quality because it was taken with my phone, but how cool is this background!? This was a client photo shoot. Alexandra wanted to take some cool Senior Photos before graduating. She was so adorable and very shy. We had a lot of fun. Leslibeth Mora did her hair, and I did her makeup.

Beauty Tips Class with Lezly & Jess

I had soooo much fun with this class. I went to school to be a theatre teacher, but now I am doing makeup, so I still get to teach! Leslibeth Mora started the class off with teaching hair. From how to curl your hair with a straightening iron, to products for your hair. Then we did a raffle, ate some treats, and then I finished with teaching makeup. Lesly bought goodie bags for everyone. I was so happy that everyone was actually learning and asking questions. We got amazing feedback and can't wait to do it again!!

Male Photo Shoot

This was my photo shoot with Reed Favero from Elite Management. Every time I show these photos to people, the first question I get is, what makeup did you have to do with him. Sooooo, what I did was put concealer under his eyes, around his nostrils, the bridge of his nose & center of his forehead. Then, he had some red pimples which I covered with green corrector and then concealer on top. Then I powdered his entire face, and then contoured his cheek bones. And viola! Oh, and I put a moisturizing lip balm on his lips.

Good News! More Published Work to come...

Over a month ago I did a photo shoot with model Lauren Bowers from Next Management. The photographer was Anjelica Martinez, Stylist Tiffany Azmouz, Hair Stylist Leslibeth Mora, and Makeup Artist Me! Anjelica was submitting the photos to magazine and I had forgotten about it since it's been a long while. But yesterday I found out the photos will be published in MC Magazine, which is an online UK magazine. I will post two photos from the shoot since they are only beauty/clean shots. I cannot post the other photos, we have to wait until they are published.
